The Challenge
Kadence, previously known as Chargeify, pivoted its business model towards remote desk booking and workspace management solutions.
However, their existing website lagged behind their ambitious product shift. They needed a digital overhaul that would effectively convey their new offerings with an updated look and feel, clearly defined brand identity, and strategically aligned marketing narrative.
In order to achieve this, their new site would need:
- Clearly defined brand guidelines and art direction.
- An upgraded tech stack that prioritised flexibility and scalability.
- Strategic user journeys for effective product communication and conversions.
The Solution
Discovery Phase
During the discovery phase, we worked closely with Kadence’s C-suite, marketing, and product teams to capture their vision and define clear strategic goals.
We immersed ourselves in understanding their target audience, product proposition, and anticipating future needs.

Design Strategy
Once we had established our goals for the project, we started by building an atomic design system that was tailored to Kadence’s UI/UX strategy and branding.
To achieve this, we carried out art direction sessions, working with Kadence to create a fresh visual identity for their brand. From there, we defined and implemented new, intuitive user journeys to enhance usability and conversions for their new site.
Our design system not only gave them more flexibility and scalability with their design, but this modular approach also helped to significantly streamline the design-to-development workflow.

Development Process
We completely rebuilt Kadence’s website using WordPress, and a modular, component-based architecture. This approach ensured rapid, efficient design as well as adaptability and scalability for future branding updates and content changes.

Results
Our strategic and technical revamp delivered:
- Enhanced user experience and clearer product messaging improved visitor engagement.
- Streamlined content management empowered the marketing team to deploy updates rapidly.
- Foundational flexibility for future brand refreshes and product expansions.
