How Composable Architecture Enhances Scalability 

In a composable architecture, the elements of your tech stack are only loosely coupled to each other, meaning that they can be easily added or removed without affecting the rest of the application. You can add new features to your product, migrate to new technologies, and scale sustainably without technical limitations. 

Having modularity in your tech stack allows you to:

• Choose best-of-breed components: Having complete freedom over the technologies you implement means you can choose best-of-breed components to populate your stack with, ensuring you’ve always got the best tool for the job, even as requirements change.

• Scale components independently: Since the components are separate, they can be scaled independently. This lets you focus resources on the most important areas and optimise time and budget allocation for more efficient scaling. 

• Reuse components: Modular components allow for efficient scaling and faster deployment of new features or applications by reusing your existing building blocks.

Authority Media

Authority Media is the parent brand of Android Authority and SoundGuys. Initially, they approached us to build a Headless architecture for their Android Authority website. When they later wanted to renovate their SoundGuys website, we were able to re-use that Headless framework and fully overhaul the SoundGuys site in only 2 months.

WPEngine

We implemented a fully composable architecture for WPEngine. By building a modular design-to-development workflow, we drastically reduced the time it took to create and modify content. Using this system, we were able to rework and implement a brand redesign for them in a little over a week.

Additionally, as WPEngine operates multiple sites, we built a centralised infrastructure that was purpose-built to operate all of their sites composably. This new architecture allows them to easily scale their network, introduce new features across multiple sites, and quickly build new websites.
